Cincinnati Zoo Prepares to Take Fiona The Hippo Off Bottle Feeding

Staff at Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden said they’re preparing to wean Fiona the baby hippopotamus off bottles of formula as they gear up to start feeding her solid foods.

Fiona, who was born six weeks premature in January, received one of her last meals in liquid form in a video shared to the zoo’s Facebook page on December 15.
