He’s the playboy prince who dated a slew of blondes before finally finding The One, and Prince Harry has shocked royal watchers following reports he’s determined to have his exes watching on when he marries Meghan Markle.
The pair are set to tie the knot on May 19, with reports claiming notable additions to the guest list include not one, but two, of Prince Harry’s previous loves.
Former flames Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas have been tipped to make an appearance on the big day.
"Harry has stayed good friends with Chelsy and Cressida, so they will be there,” a source told the Daily Mail.
“He made sure there were no hard feelings when they split up. I don’t think Meghan will mind."
Harry's interesting invites had the Twitterverse divided, with some can't quite getting their head around the whole thing.
However others sprung to Harry’s defence, revealing they did the exact same and had the best day.
Prince Harry famously dated South-African jewellery designer Chelsy for seven years, after the couple met during his gap year in 2004.
Considered his first love, not only did Chelsy meet the Queen during their romance, she was also a guest at Prince Charles’ 60th birthday and was clearly considered part of the family – even scoring an invite to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding in 2011, even though she had already split from Harry.
Chelsy struggled with the ‘crazy and scary and uncomfortable’ media scrutiny surrounding their relationship, admitting it took its toll on their romance before their split in 2011.
“I couldn't cope,” she told the Times. “I was young, I was trying to be a normal kid and it was horrible."
It’s something Harry’s other ex, Cressida Bonas, struggled with as well.
The pair dated from 2012 to 2014, with Cressida, the granddaughter of Edward Curzon, 6th Earl Howe, an aspiring actress who found it difficult to pursue her career with all eyes on her relationship with the royal.
And unlike Chelsy, there’s rumours she might not have been as happy with Harry’s engagement news when it was first announced.
The actress posted a cryptic Instagram snap after Harry and Meghan went public with their happy news in November, reading “No matter how educated, talented, rich or cool you believe you are, how you treat people ultimately tells it all.”
