Former Home and Away star Lincoln Lewis is one of Australia’s most loved young actors and so it’s no surprise that he is friends with our next Bachelor, the Honey Badger.
In an exclusive chat with Be, Lincoln revealed what Nick Cummins aka the Honey Badger is really like.
“He really knows himself,” Lincoln said. “But it’s also one of those things that when you get him one on one, you really see a lot more about him.”
Lincoln and Nick are both ambassadors for Tourism Australia and spent a trip in the wilderness of South Australia together.
“He’s a very funny bloke, so when you have a lot of people around, he can just throw banter but when you get him one on one it’s a different story.”
“We only had a small amount of time that we had together, but he’s got a real deep side to him.”
During their time together, Lincoln and Nick chatted about the deeper side of life which from face value, people wouldn’t have really expected from them.
It was here that the pair realised they had previously met during school.
“We are actually the same age and graduated the same year,” Lincoln said. “We realised that we played inter-school rugby union against each other from grade eight all the way up to grade 12 and never even knew.”
So how does the 30-year-old think that the Honey Badger will fare on the field as the next Bachelor?
“He’ll be fine,” Lincoln laughed. “He’ll be absolutely sweet. He’s a good- looking lad, he’s tall, he’s fit and he’s got all the chat on top of that.”
Speaking of keeping fit – Lincoln is the newest ambassador for Naked Kitchen.
The brand wants people to think twice about the food they are consuming and as the name suggests, “naked” – that is full of 100 per cent natural goodness.
The actor’s time on Hell’s Kitchen gave him a love of cooking that he never knew he had, and now he loves to source ingredients grown by local farmers.
“Farmers are our life-blood,” Lincoln said. “And it’s so important to support them.”
