Lindy Klim defends taking her baby on motorbike

Lindy Klim has defended her decision to take her five-month-old baby Goldie on a motorcycle ride.

Posting to her Instagram story overnight, the 40-year-old shared a video of “Goldie’s first ride on the motor bike”, which featured herself, her partner Adam Ellis and the bub.

Currently residing in Bali, Lindy explained in an exclusive chat with Be, that it was “just a way of life”.

“Just because something is foreign to you, isn’t for others,” she explained. “Do they also want to tell the millions of Indonesians that do it everyday that they are wrong?”

Lindy, whose father was born into a senior royal family in Indonesia, says it’s just what the locals do.

“All of my children have been on bikes, motorbikes, planes and trains. I want them to live life, not live in fear of living.”

Lindy and Adam welcomed her fourth child in December last year.

“Welcome to the world little Goldie Ellis, beautiful little sister to Stella, Rocco and Frankie @adamjossellis @stellabrations,” she captioned the Instagram announcement at the time.

The couple first started dating in March 2016, just one month after she announced her separation from Olympic Swimmer Michael Klim after 10 years of marriage.
