UK Love Island star Sophie Gradon spoke about the devastating impact of being trolled online just months before her death.
The 32-year-old passed away on Thursday after reportedly battling with depression and anxiety caused from appearing on the reality show
Now in the TV star’s final interview reveals her ordeal, describing the online bullying as “horrific”.
“There would be so many negative comments,” she told Radio Aire. “They are commenting on the way you look, the way you talk. They would come up with an opinion of you on a TV show where they’ve watched you for 45 minutes.”

The brunette — who broke Love Island history in 2016 when she became part of the first same-sex couple on the show — went on to describe how despite receiving nice comments, she couldn’t help but be drawn to the bad ones.
“There are fans and positive comments but people would focus on the negatives,” she said. “Sometimes I would look for it. It was horrific.”
Her chilling admission was just three months before her death and has left fans with a shaken with many taking to social media to share their condolences.

Sophie’s boyfriend Aaron Armstrong announced the TV star had passed away in a heartbreaking post on Facebook.
“I will never forget that smile. I love you so so much baby, you’re my world forever and always,” he said.
