MAC cosmetics targeted by cruel trolls online for model's facial hair

MAC Cosmetics has been targeted by cruel trolls online after sharing an image of one of its lip liner products on Instagram.

The beauty brand posted a photo of the chestnut-coloured lip pencil, but it was the actual model wearing the product that sparked the biggest reaction.

In a move we applaud, the model’s face has clearly not been photoshopped, but it’s left some people up in arms about the fact you can see the facial hair.

“What about the yukyyyy hair on the lips, omg,” was one mean comment, on the Instagram post which has since received over 1,300 responses.

“She has a moustache, please Photoshop the whiskers,” another offended person asked.

“OMG what about the small hair or the moustache on her mouth,” was another ridiculous comment.

Many however were quick to point out that having facial hair was completely natural, and thanked MAC for ‘keeping it real’.

“Thank you Mac. Beauty is not always about perfection,” was one comment from a supporter.

“Appreciate you for not editing or photoshopping the model,” another person wrote.

“Hey, in 2018 we are OK with body hair because we know nobody is hairless,
