After capturing hearts around the nation, Married At First Sight's star Ryan Gallagher, who left wife Davina on the show last night, has now addressed rumours of being the next Bachelor.

2DayFM Breakfast Show hosts Em, Grant and Ed, revealed this morning that there has been talk around the halls of Channel Ten about casting Ryan as the new Bachelor.

“Ryan you are officially the country’s most eligible bachelor,” Em Rusciano said to start their chat with the humble reality star.

Ryan, 29, was then put on the spot with the tough question we all want to know, "Would you do it or not?"

"Look, I don't know, Channel nine have been fantastic to me so I don’t know what to say," he struggled to answer.

Ryan admitted that he while he has heard the rumours, he has not yet been approached.

However, neither denying or confirming what he would do, he kept our hopes high saying, “That’s a future Ryan thing.”

Ryan Gallagher copped a hard stint on Married At First Sight after being blindsided by his wife, Davina, who was involved in a cheating scandal with fellow contestant Dean.

And while still recovering from it all, he said it would take a lot for him to take on an experience like that again.

"I’ve done this experience, the married thing, I’ve given it a crack and unfortunately it turned to a burning building so I don’t know... it would be a lot of pressure."

We're sure fans like us who will miss seeing Ryan on this week's episodes will be thrilled with the idea.
