MAFS star Ryan Gallagher confirms he's talking to Sophie Monk
Married At First Sight star Ryan Gallagher has confirmed he is in contact with Sophie Monk, after an insider spilled the beans to Be that the pair were dating.
“Every now and then we’ll talk to each other,” he confirmed on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show.
However, Ryan denied the pair are officially an item, after reports the he had claimed he was ‘dating’ the former Bachelorette star.
“He said to me that he’s been dating Sophie Monk and that they’re official,” an insider told Be at the time. “They talk for hours on the phone.”
“Ryan also said it was radio presenter Jackie O who set the pair up.”
Jackie O also confirmed she introduced the pair, after Ryan told the radio host he had slid into Sophie’s Instagram DMs, but hadn’t received a reply.
Jackie reportedly helped move things along for the pair, writing to Soph to tell her to get in touch with Ryan.
Ryan, 30, admitted on air to Kyle and Jackie O that he and Sophie ‘probably will’ be spending some time together upon her return from Spain, where she is currently filming Love Island.
However, Kyle felt like he wasn’t getting the full tale.
“I think there’s more to this story,” he said on air. “If I was the paparazzi I’d be following Sophie and Ryan around.”
We definitely think that will probably be the case, Kyle.
