MAFS' Tracey Jewel confirms split from Sean Thomsen
Tracey Jewel was caught up in the most epic of love triangles/squares on Married At First Sight ever with “husband” Dean Wells and fellow couple Davina Rankin and Ryan Gallagher.
She ended up dumping Dean on the finale and moved on with Sean Thomsen but it appears, once again, love hasn’t been on Tracey’s side as she’s confirmed her split from her boyfriend.
After just five months of dating Tracey revealed the news to New Idea she decided to end her relationship with Sean due to the lack of “stability” with him due to his job as a FIFO (fly-in-fly-out) worker.
“I think we’ve both been in denial, wanting it to work so badly, but it’s just not,” she said.
‘You just build up that resentment and ill feelings towards each other because you want things to change, but they’re not going to.”
The 35-year-old also admitted she wasn’t ready to uproot her life in Perth and move to Melbourne with him.
However, it appears he ex Dean has been on her mind insisting the 40-year-old will “always have a soft spot in [her] heart”.
“The way me and Dean ended things, you never say never,” Tracey admitted.
She also thinks Dean will be “happy” to hear about her split from Sean and is expecting a call from her “ex-husband”.
