Makeup artist transforms herself into Meghan Markle
A talented makeup blogger has turned herself into the Duchess of Sussex on her wedding day – and the results are amazing.
Sharing the transformation video on her Youtube channel dope2111 blogger Promise Tamang said the Meghan Markle look was ‘highly requested’.
“Today I am turning into the new Duchess of Sussex ‘Meghan Markle’,” she captioned the video.
“You guys might be surprised but I really liked how natural and fresh her makeup was for the wedding. She looked effortlessly beautiful so I wanted to try to achieve the same when doing this.”
To achieve the Meghan wedding-day look, the makeup artist first used sculpting wax to shape her nose to look like the Duchess’s.
Then came foundation and contouring to shape her face, some blush, eyebrows and even freckles.
Next a faultless but subtle natural eye shadow and liner to accentuate her eyes.
Finally some lippie, a veil and of course the tiara. Check out how she did it in the video above.
The video has since had 17k likes and been viewed over 367,000 times on Youtube.
Many were blown away by the transformation and her likeness to Meghan Markle at the end.
“Whatttt! This is incredible,” one fan commented.
“I swear I thought that was the real Meghan,” another said.
Some did however point out that they would have liked her to use a darker foundation, but were still impressed.
“Wish you could have used a darker foundation colour. It looks eerily odd with a light colour,” was one comment.
Either way we’re very impressed.
