Lucky Aussie wins Lotto twice in one week

While many of us would be over the moon to win big in the Lotto just once in our lives, one man managed to get the winning numbers twice in one week.

The man, who is in his 40s and hails from Bondi in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, couldn’t believe his luck when he bagged a cool $1,020,487 in Monday’s Lotto draw.

But just five days later, the man’s bank balance was massively boosted when he won $1,457,834 in the Saturday night draw.

All up the man won a massive $2,478,321 after buying the winning tickets from Bondi Sixway News.

“I just thought this is too good to be true. Twice in a few days,” he said.

“The chances of winning twice in such a short period of time must be non-existent.”

When asked what advice he would give to other Lotto players, the man said he couldn’t explain how he did it, only that ‘God looked after’ him.

He claims he’s ‘not going to be stupid’ with his winnings and will ‘invest it wisely in real estate’.

“I’ll still hope to buy something in Bondi or maybe on the Gold Coast,” he said.

“A holiday to Honolulu goes without saying.

“I did treat myself to a nice brand new car though but the rest I will be sensible with definitely.”
