Man surprises supermarket shoppers with Baby Shark dance

It’s that catchy children’s song that you either hate to love, or love to hate, but either way, it seems to be everywhere at the moment.

Following on from the ‘In My Feelings’ challenge, the Baby Shark challenge has taken the internet by storm with adults having a laugh filming themselves recreating the easy dance moves.

Yet one man has taken things to the next level with a video of himself busting out a karaoke performance of the song in the middle of a busy supermarket in the UK.

Lee Marshall, known as DiscoBoy to his social media followers, arrived at the Tesco store dressed in hot pants, a singlet, sunglasses, and a Russian style hat before making his entrance with his own speaker and a microphone.

“Yes Tesco! It’s Sunday, it’s Tesco… How we doing? Let’s go!” he says to warm up the crowd who are looking pretty baffled by his entrance.

Then before you know it he begins clapping his hands together skipping up and down in front of checkouts as the catchy – and somewhat annoying – tune plays, “Baby shark dooo dooo doo doo doo dooo, baby shark dooo dooo doooo.”

Despite making an absolute scene, jumping up on top of registers and dancing around customers, the staff didn’t seem to mind at all and instead looked to enjoy the odd bit of entertainment on their Sunday shift.

Fellow shoppers were also amused and gathered around to film the hilarious performance – with some even joining in on the dance moves.

“Alright guys, thanks a lot, good day, enjoy your Sunday!” he says before making his exit after the song finished.

And it’s not the first of this guy’s spontaneous public performances.

DiscoBoy – who has over 36,000 youtube subscribers – has made a name for himself after bringing his speaker and his questionable fashion to various locations before busting out a song to a very bemused audience.
