Bachelor couple Matthew ‘Matty J’ Johnson and Laura Byrne recently celebrated their one-year anniversary, and it seems the pair are ready to take their relationship to the next level.

There’s apparently a baby on the horizon for this couple.

Matty J revealed he and his girlfriend have been hit by baby fever after having been “surrounded by babies” recently.

The marketing manager’s older sister Kate gave birth to a baby girl last year and Laura’s sister welcomed a baby son last month.

“I’m hoping in 12 months’ time we’ll be looking to start a family,” the 30-year-old told TV Week.

He insisted he knew Laura was “definitely” the one he wanted to start a family with, but they’re both currently “so busy”.

However, timing may be on their side as Laura is set to move into Matty’s Bondi home very soon.

Their baby plans come just as OG Bachelor couple Anna Heinrich and Tim Robards tied the knot over the weekend in Italy.

We wonder if Matty and Laura will follow suit in walking down the aisle too.
