They've previously confirmed they 'crossed paths' before filming The Bachelor, and now Matty J and Laura Byrne have revealed what really happened when they locked eyes at the steamy Bondi Iceberg's sauna in Sydney.
Appearing on The Project on Friday night in what was their first televised interview, the cute couple admitted they checked each other out, and that Laura had recognised Matty from his stint on The Bachelorette last year.
"We were at a sauna at Icebergs and we clocked each other," Matty said on the show, with Laura sitting right by his side, holding onto his hand.
He continued: "And we never said a word and [it's] ironic that it took a TV show to bring us together".
"I was there with a friend and I was like, 'I think that's the guy from The Bachelor', and that was all. There was no conversation," Laura added.
At that point Matty chimed in: "I was smiling at you and you gave me nothing back".
The Bondi Icebergs sauna and pool is a popular attraction in Sydney's East, and the likes of Kim Kardashian and Hailey Baldwin have visited the hot spot, taking the liberty to try out the venue's exclusive dining room and restaurant.
Now that they've gone public with their romance, who's to stop Matty and Laura from returning to the steamy sauna where some would say it all really began.
