A new promo for the Channel Seven reality show reveals tensions rising as a major incident takes place.

Tears begin and an ambulance arrives at the scene of the emergency.

This year’s season of House Rules will see seven teams working their renovation magic in a bid to take out the winning title.

The experts for 2018 are Johanna Griggs, Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen, Wendy Moore, Drew Heath and Carolyn Burns-McCrave.

House Rules premieres on Monday at 7:30pm on Channel Seven.
