They may be in a bubble of engagement bliss at the moment but experts are claiming Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding day may be a massive security nightmare.

The 33-year-old Prince got down on one knee and popped the question to former Suits actress, 36-year-old Meghan Markle, at the beginning of the month.

Just one day after they made their engagement public, it was announced that the couple would be getting married at Windsor Castle in May.

And while royal watchers may be already getting their outfit prepared for the big day, others are worried about the security threats on the day.

According to Security and Intelligence expert, Professor Anthony Glees, Prince Harry’s involvement with the British army might be cause for concern.

“Harry is a massive security risk because of his war service and that it’s on record that he has personally shot at members of the Taliban and will doubtless have killed them,” he told The Mirror.

“Meghan is a global star thanks to Suits and also a campaigning woman with strong views on Trump and the US Alt-Right.

“The wedding will be an iconic, global event. Add all this together and you have a massive security issue to resolve.”

The expert also revealed that they may have chosen Windsor Castle instead of Westminster because the castle can be sealed off on one side and lies high up on a hill.
