Meghan Markle banned from wearing this around the Queen

She’s already been banned from eating garlic and shellfish around the Queen, quit her job to join the royal family and can’t sign autographs anymore, but there’s another thing Meghan Markle can add to the long list of rules she now has to follow.

Despite being a major fashionista, with her outfits selling out within moments of the Duchess appearing in them out in public, there’s one item the Queen never wants to see Meghan wearing.

Kate Middleton may be a huge fan of them, but apparently the Queen can’t stand the sight of wedge heels.

In fact, she’s so against them, that’s it’s previously been claimed it’s well known amongst the women of the family, who avoid wearing them in the 92-year-old Monarch’s presence.

“The Queen isn’t a fan of wedged shoes. She really doesn’t like them and it’s well-known among the women in the family,” a source told Vanity Fair.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, is often seen sporting cork wedges out in public, especially when she’s at sporting events.

However, whenever she knows the Queen will be present, she sticks to her trusty spindly heels.

Wedges aren’t the only thing Meghan has had to donate to charity since joining the royal family, because she’s also not supposed to wear anything that falls above the knee.

She’s also meant to coverage her cleavage and wear stockings so her legs aren’t exposed.

Meghan has also been slammed recently for showing her shoulders at the Trooping of the Colour ceremony, while standing on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

It’s expected that female members of the royal family shouldn’t expose their shoulders, even if it is a warm summer’s day.
