Meghan Markle reveals the one thing she misses from her pre-royal life

At St George’s Chapel on May 19, the Duchess of Sussex bid farewell to her acting career when she said her ‘I dos’ in front of 11.5 million royal fans across the globe.

But regardless of her new Buckingham Palace-approved wardrobe and protocol-abiding etiquette, the former actress hasn’t forgotten her Hollywood past.

On the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s 48-hour whistle-stop trip to Dublin, the 36-year-old spoke candidly about her time on US legal drama, ‘Suits’.

Royal fan, Fiona Moore, welcomed the couple to the Emerald Isle and revealed how she chatted to Meghan about the Netflix hit.

“I’m a fan of Suits and I said to her that I miss it and she said ‘so do I’,” she recalled.

Back in April, the former actress’ character, Rachel Zane, was written out of the script with a wedding which mirrored her own big day.

After giving up the silver screen for life with Prince Harry (who can blame her?), her character married Mike Ross, played by Patrick J. Adams, in the season seven finale.

Just a mere matter of weeks later, Meghan donned another white gown. This time, for a history-making ceremony held at St George’s Chapel in Windsor. Oh, and with a prince for a groom.

On recent engagements the Duchess has faced criticism for donning Duchess of Cambridge-inspired hats and powder pink tights.

So fans will be pleased to learn that Meghan hasn’t forgotten her roots and who knows? Maybe she’ll eventually make an unanticipated return to our screens?

In the meantime, we’ll continue to binge on ‘Suits’.
