Meghan Markle's blunt response when asked if she still watches Suits

She made a name for herself as ‘Rachel’ on hit TV drama Suits, but it seems the now Duchess of Sussex has put that chapter of her life well behind her.

On a recent trip to Loughborough University – where Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended the Coach Core Awards – identical twins, Luke and Elliott Rainbird, asked the duchess whether she still binges on Suits.

Meghan, who left the show last year after deciding to move to the UK and marry Harry, is reported by People to have simply replied ‘no’ and moved on to talk about the apprenticeship scheme.

Since Meghan waved farewell to the NBC programme, she has been replaced by Katherine Heigl on the show.

Speaking in her official engagement interview with the BBC back in November last year, Meghan talked fondly of her time on Suits, but claimed that chapter of her life is now closed.

“I don’t see it as giving anything up. I just see it as a change,” Meghan said, when she was questioned over how she feels about giving up her career.

“It’s a new chapter, right? Also keep in mind I had been working on my show for seven years.

“So, we were very, very fortunate to be able to have that sort of longevity on a series.

“For me, once we hit the 100 episode marker, I thought, you know what, I have ticked this box, and I feel very proud of the work I had done there and now it’s time to work as team with you. Yeah..”

During the interview, Prince Harry also claimed he has never hear of Meghan or Suits before he was set up with the stunning 37-year-old in a blind date.

“When I walked into that room and saw her. There she was sitting there, I was like, “OK, well, I’m really gonna have to up my game. Sit down and have a, and make sure I’ve got good chat,” Harry said.

However, on her trip to Ireland in July, a fan told Hello! magazine that they told Meghan they miss Suits, to which the Duchess is reported to have replied: ‘So do I’.
