Meghan Markle's brother begs for invite to royal wedding
Some members of Meghan Markle’s family have been extremely outspoken since her relationship with Prince Harry was made public.
And despite having some not-so-nice things to say about his sibling, it seems Meghan’s half-brother Thomas Markle Jr. is now begging for an invite.
The 37-year-old penned an open letter to his half sister which has been published by In Touch.
Markle notes in the letter how he and Meghan have become “distant” but insisted they are “still family”.
“With all the memories of watching you grow up, it’s hurtful that you would forget about us,” he writes.
The letter also reflects on past family festivities they shared together including pivotal celebrations such as Christmas and spending time together with their father, Thomas Markle Sr., and grandmother.
“It does hurt my feelings not getting invited to your wedding, along with the rest of the family,” Markle also says. “But it’s not too late to send me an invite along with your entire family.”
He closed the letter pleading for an invite for the wedding to show his “love and support” as “that’s what families do”.
This is not the first open letter Meghan’s estranged half-brother has written.
In a scathing open letter to the 33-year-old prince, which was shared with In Touch, Markle referred to the upcoming nuptials as “the biggest mistake in royal wedding history”.
He also said Meghan would make a “joke” of Harry and the “royal family heritage” and that his half-sister was “a jaded, shallow, conceited woman”.
“I’m confused why you don’t see the real Meghan that the whole world now sees, Meghan’s attempt to get the part of a princess like a below C average Hollywood actress is getting old,” he also said in his letter.
Thomas Markle Jr isn’t the only half-sibling of Meghan’s to stir things up.
Samantha Grant, Meghan’s older half sister has also been extremely outspoken with outlandish claims about the former Suits actress.
We’ll just have to wait and see if their pleas for invites are heard on May 19.
