Meghan Markle's copying Kate on her wedding day
There are less than three months to go until Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tie the knot in the most anticipated wedding of 2018.
But there might be something about the occasion that reminds you of Kate and Wills’ special day seven years ago.
The designer chosen to make 36-year-old Meghan’s gown has yet to be officially revealed, but a very big hint was dropped this week when local bookmakers noticed a massive spike in bets.
All of a sudden, the odds that Alexander McQueen would be chosen have gone through the roof, perhaps suggesting that someone with insider knowledge is trying to use it to make some quick cash.

The spike was so severe that betting has been suspended on it, in a similar way to when bets were called off on the date of Harry and Meghan’s wedding just days before their engagement was announced.
But getting back to McQueen, if that name is sounding familiar it should be; it’s the same British fashion house that made both of Kate Middleton’s stunning dresses back in 2011.
The first Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown was a spectacular long-sleeved design with a 2.7 metre-long train perfect for the cathedral setting, while the other lesser seen one was slightly simpler and worn with a sparkly belt.
Both had an A-line style skirt, so it will be interesting to see if Meghan will also go for that traditionally princess look.
Australian designers Ralph & Russo were previously tipped to be chosen for the honour after Meghan wore one of their designs for her official engagement shoot. Another favourite label of Kate’s Erdem, was also in the running.
