One day before Meghan Markle gets married to Prince Harry, her Suits co-stars Sarah Rafferty, Gina Torres, and Rick Hoffman dropped by the Today Show in lovely Windsor, England.

And Hoffman one-upped that the British spy service MI6 delivered his midshower.

But amid the funny business, Hoffman did reveal how he reacted when Meghan dropped the Prince Harry bombshell.

I had gotten the news early,” he said.

“And I was like, ‘You gotta be kidding me.’ Both of us [were] in the trailer, [and I was] like, ‘You’re going… You’re dating a prince? … Well, take it slow. Be careful. Don’t let him hurt you.’”

In a way, Suits prepared Meghan for this wedding. Her final appearance on the show had her character, Rachel Zane, marrying her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Mike Ross.

Over seven seasons, Meghan and her co-stars naturally grew close, as they told Today.

“We were with each other for longer than we went to college or high school,” said Rafferty.

“We became family in a way. We’re still family. This is a wonderful family affair.”

And while Markle is moving onward and upward from cable TV, Hoffman shared a telling anecdote about her generosity after he went through a breakup.

“I had to go to a wedding in Paris five years ago this weekend,” he said.

“I was dateless. And Meghan was like, ‘Do you want me to come with you?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, that would be awesome.’”
