Meghan Markle rushes to correct herself as she breaks protocol again

She was slammed last week for crossing her legs at a reception with the Queen and now Meghan Markle has done it again.

The 36-year-old Duchess of Sussex attended the RAF centenary commemoration at Westminster Abbey with the rest of the royal family on Tuesday.

And while she may have looked right at home outside the church, inside it was a different story, with the Duchess crossing her legs in a major royal blunder.

While it might not be a big deal for women to cross their legs usually, it’s actually seen as a breach of protocol for Duchess’.

“Typically ‘the Duchess slant’ is used when a lady has to sit for an extended amount of time while keeping poise and posture,” Myka Meier, the founder of Beaumont Etiquette, previously told GoodHousekeeping.com.

Indeed, when you look back at photos Kate Middleton at royal events, she is usually dong the ‘Duchess slant’ with her legs.

Just hours after she attended the RAF centenary, Meghan was again spotted breaking a royal rule during her first, official overseas trip with Prince Harry.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at a summer garden party in Dublin, hosted by Britain’s Ambassador to Ireland, Robin Barnett.

The former Suits actress went against royal protocol by wearing black for the occasion, a colour the Queen and Kate Middleton usually only wear for sombre affairs.

The evening event held at Glencairn House boasted a 300-strong guest list and Prince Harry took to the stage to give a touching speech.

According to royal reporter, Rebecca English, the 33-year-old said: “We’re so pleased to be here for our first official international visit together as a married couple and we hope it will be the first of many.”
