Meghan's family blacklisted from royal wedding coverage

They were pictured landing at Heathrow Airport in London days ahead of the royal wedding, despite not being invited to the big day.

And now it’s been revealed that Meghan Markle’s family have been dropped by Good Morning Britain’s royal wedding coverage.

Tracy Dooley, who was previously married to Meghan’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr. and hasn’t seen the 36-year-old former Suits actress in 20 years, flew into the UK with her two sons, Tyler and Thomas Dooley.

It was previously reported that Meghan’s estranged family members would be acting as ‘special correspondents’ for the ITV show on Saturday, however, it seems that’s not the case anymore.

“The Dooleys will not be contributing to Good Morning Britain’s coverage of the Royal wedding,” an ITV spokesperson told The Sun.

Tracy touched down in London on Monday and has since been uploading pictures to her Facebook page, showing off the sights.

“We’re here. Yah!” she captioned the first post, which showed a picture of the London Eye and Big Ben.

Two days later Tracy again uploaded images from sunny London, alongside the caption: “God, Love, Family, Friends, Health, Giving and Traveling.”

The backlash comes just one day after Meghan’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, launched a scathing attack on the bride-to-be.

Samantha spoke from her car, slamming Meghan for asking her family not to speak out about her life.

“If it’s about my life or my father’s then there’s something in this country [the USA] known as freedom of speech,” she started her rant.

“She doesn’t have a copyright on that and she’s not going to tell me that I can’t speak about my own life or my father’s where it’s a matter of public self-defense because the media is disparaging us.”

Samantha went on, claiming Meghan’s ‘not qualified to suggest’ she keep quiet ‘under any law in this country’.

“This is not Great Britain. I am a United States citizen and that’s all there is to it. She’s way out of her league to tell me that I can’t speak.”

Samantha, who hasn’t actually seen Meghan since 2008, claims their relationship only became strained last year because of ‘what tabloids have said’.
