Meghan's mum, Doria Ragland, 'furious' with Thomas Markle

She was pictured flying to London to be with her daughter ahead of her wedding to Prince Harry this weekend, but Meghan Markle’s mum, Doria Ragland, is apparently not in the party mood.

According to reports in The Sun, the 61-year-old yoga instructor is ‘furious’ with her ex-husband and her former actress daughter’s father, Thomas Markle, who pulled out of Meghan’s wedding earlier this week.

Doria, who is very close with Meghan, is believed to be preparing herself to walk her 36-year-old daughter down the aisle, after her dad, Thomas, decided not to fly to Windsor because he didn’t want to embarrass the royal family any further.

Just hours after revealing he wouldn’t be at the wedding, Thomas was then admitted to hospital for heart surgery, where he reportedly had three stents placed in his blood vessels after suffering a heart attack.

However, Thomas and Doria have barely spoken in years and she’s said to be fuming over the fact that her ex-husband’s children are all speaking out.

“He had told friends that he wanted to come with the peace gesture for an appeasement before the wedding and his daughter’s big day, but his recent actions have crushed that,” a source told The Sun.

“The couple were also at odds with one another because of his other children speaking out so disrespectfully about Meghan in the last year.

“She had asked him to have them not do so, but little changed.”

Doria was pictured on Wednesday leaving her home in LA with a Burberry dress bag in hand, leading many to believe she’s wearing the designer on the big day.

She’s expected to be staying with Meghan the night before her wedding at Cliveden House, before riding in the horse-drawn carriage with her daughter to the church on Saturday .
