Melania Trump smiles awkwardly as she narrowly avoids wardrobe mishap

She’s usually stoic when out-and-about on official business, but Melania Trump couldn’t help but crack a smile when she narrowly avoided a wardrobe mishap yesterday.

The 48-year-old First Lady was boarding a plane to Nashville, Tennessee, for a trip to promote her ‘Be Best’ campaign, when a gust of wind came out of nowhere and blew her skirt up into the air.

Melania was wearing a grey and white sleeveless dress, which was cinched in at the waist with a thick buckled belt.

The FLOTUS matched the number with a pair of her signature towering white heels and oversized sunglasses.

She handled the situation like a pro, smiling and placing her hand on her skirt to protect her modesty.

Later in the day Melania was pictured mingling and talking to sick kids at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital.

Speaking in March about the ‘Be Best’ initiative, Melania said she hopes to bring awareness to neonatal abstinence syndrome.

“In my role as First Lady, much of my focus has been towards understanding the negative effects the opioid crisis is having on our children and young mothers,” she said, according to CNN.

“Many young mothers are not even aware of this disease, so we must continue educating them about the real dangers of opioids on unborn babies.”

That same month, Melania broke her silence on her husband, President Donald Trump’s, alleged affair with porn star, Stormy Daniels.

“She’s focused on being a mum and is quite enjoying spring break at Mar-a-Lago while working on future projects,” the first lady’s spokesperson told MSNBC.

The White House has repeatedly denied that any affair took place, saying: “the President strongly, clearly and has consistently denied these underlying claims”.
