Model credits divorce therapy for helping raise daughter with ex
Model Elyse Taylor certainly lives her life in the fast lane and spends much of her time travelling the world for different shoots.
But away from the designer clothes and flashing cameras, the 31-year-old Aussie is first and foremost a mother.
She shares her gorgeous little girl Lila with her ex-husband Seth Campbell, and tells Be how she manages to juggle her jet-setting career and motherhood alongside co-parenting.
“Every couple is different,” the Nude by Nature ambassador explained. “Every couple goes through their bumps along the way.”
Despite no longer being together, Elyse admitted she and Seth “are very proud of [their] relationship”.
To make their transition into co-parenting trouble free, the former couple “went through divorce therapy”.
“You work through it, it’s not always going to be smooth sailing, but you just tread cautiously,” she explained.
However, there is one thing they can solely agree on: they “always” put their daughter first.
Still, the busy life of a model isn’t always easy and with a new boyfriend in the mix, Elyse admitted she does struggle to find time for everyone.
“It’s hard because I’ve got my life with my partner and then my life with my daughter and her father,” she said. “And then work and then my girlfriends.”
Elyse sticks to the mantra, “If it’s important, everything will fall into place.”
