Mum's eye-opening postpartum depression admission

A mum’s powerful post about dealing with postpartum depression has gone viral, after she opened up about ‘resenting’ her kids for existing.

Tiffany Jenkins, who runs her own blog, called Juggling The Jenkins, took to both her Facebook and Instagram page to tell her story, and to urge others to reach out for help if they’re suffering from something similar.

The mum said she couldn’t imagine life without her kids – who are two and three now – but at the time she didn’t even want to lift them out of their cots because she ‘didn’t want to be their mother’.

Speaking candidly about that time, Tiffany says she, “wanted to leave them in their cribs and run out the door, never to return.”

While she still smiled for photos, the mum spent most of her days crying, questioning her sanity and berating herself for being a bad person.
