Mum 'loses her job' over foul-mouthed daughter

A nine-year-old Instagram star has been raising eyebrows with her foul-mouthed viral videos.

Lil Tay, as she is known, regularly posts videos of herself driving luxury cars and throwing around piles of cash while bragging about being richer than everyone else.

She rarely utters more than a few words without slipping in an expletive, and her antics have started to draw the attention of more than just her 1.8 million followers.

After claiming to have sold drugs, and getting herself into a highly publicised fight with Bhad Bhabie Danielle Bregoli – formerly known as the ‘cash me ousside’ girl – people have been asking where her parents are and whether they’ve been monitoring Lil Tay’s online profile.

According to Instagram, you have to be over the age of 13 to open an account, but Lil Tay repeatedly claims to be nine, and her account has been verified. It falsely claims to be managed by former child actress Miranda Cosgrove.

CBC reports that the account is actually managed by a parent, most likely her mum, who appears in the background of one of her videos and is described by Lil Tay as someone she’s ‘trying to make proud’.

Now, reports are circulating that her mum was on the verge of being fired from her job as a real estate agent because of the child’s antics.

The mum is said to have resigned before the managers of the firm “had a chance to let her go,” according to the Daily Hive.

“When we found out about this activity last week we had to dismiss her,” a director told the Daily Hive, before slightly amending his statement and clarifying that the woman ‘resigned’ before she could be fired. She’d been at the firm for six months.

Concerns have also been raised about the girl’s welfare, as her videos attract millions of views and many of the comments are negative.
