A mum-of-three has detailed how her sex addiction got so bad that getting between the sheets five times a day wasn’t enough for her.

Rebecca Barker, from North Yorkshire in the UK, told the BBC that her crippling sex obsession resulted in the breakdown of her relationship.

The 37-year-old, who claims her life was completely overrun by the addiction in 2014, said sex was the first thing she thought about when she woke up in the morning, and she was always asking her partner for it.

But even having sex five times a day couldn’t satisfy the mum, who said that she was constantly ‘craving it’.

“It was giving me the instant hit and five minutes later I wanted it again,” Rebecca said.

The addiction became so bad that Rebecca became ‘a hermit’ and didn’t want to go outside.

“I think it was linked to my depression and the lack of serotonin,” she said.

Eventually, her relationship began to break down, with her partner unable to understand her addiction.

“He accused me of having an affair – he thought I must have been feeling guilty about it and that’s why I wanted sex with him,” she said.

They broke up not long after and now Rebecca has managed to get her addiction under control.
