Mums defend Chrissy Teigen for sharing intimate bath photo

Model Chrissy Teigen cannot catch a break from the social media universe.

The 32-year-old wife of John Legend has now been ‘mum-shamed’ for sharing a pic of her and daughter Luna, two, in the bath.

While both Luna and her mum are nude in the picture, no private parts can be seen, however this did not stop the negative comments from flowing.

But it was the support from the other mums on Instagram for Chrissy that far outweighs the bad.

After one user wrote, “This is beautiful and all, but there are some intimate photos that you should keep in your family circle,” others were quick to defend the cookbook author.

“I’m glad I’m not the only one to take baths with her baby. I love this, it’s a great bonding moment with your little one,” one commenter said.

“One of my favourite things to do with my kiddos when they were teeny. I miss it,” another said.

“Classic mummin’ like a boss. Keep doing u girl!! Can’t wait to see your little man.”

Then there was this: “If anyone says one more negative thing, send em my way. You go girl. That’s what mums do!!!”

This is not the first (and we daresay the last) time that Chrissy has experienced backlash for her parenting style.

Back in January, she shared a snap of a hesitant looking Luna sitting in her lap on play equipment.

“Weeeee are very skeptical of slides right now,” the model captioned the photo.

The pic attracted comments from concerned parents who have shared horror stories of their own children getting hurt when doing something similar.

“I did this when my son was a little over 1,” commented one parent. “The slide has a small bump in it and when we bounced his leg bounced off my leg and got twisted. He has a possible hairline fracture and was casted for a month. I felt terrible!”

Chrissy and John are expecting their second arrival in June 2018 – a little brother for Luna.
