Mum's simple trick to childproof her bathroom

A mum has shared a hilarious video online of how she childproofed her bathroom – and she used the simplest hack.

Kimberley Bosley took to Instagram after capturing this footage of her two boys up to no good.

The adorable tots managed to make their way into the bathroom, but their mum was ready for them.

“Go on little trouble makers. Do your worst,” she captioned the video.

But rather than seeing the toilet paper spread out across the bathroom floor, Kimberley had come up with the easiest trick to stop that from happening.

And all it took was a hair tie.

She also used some of the boys’ own plastic toys to lock the bathroom cupboard.

The video was shared online, gaining plenty of rave reviews from mums eager to use the idea themselves.

“Wish I had of known this when the girls were younger,” one mum wrote on Facebook.

“Hair tie on the toilet paper! Very good idea,” another shared with her friend.

“Why didn’t this ever cross our minds,” was another comment.

“Toilet roll is genius,” one person wrote.
