It's just days away from their annual Autumn/Winter collection launch and Myer is making sure they hit headlines for all the right reasons this year by warning their models against losing any weight before the show, reports say.
The Daily Telegraph reports that the retail giant has issued models and ambassadors with a strict mandate, in an effort to avoid any controversy over their figures.
According to the publication, it's believed waif-thin former Home & Away star Jodi Anasta is one of the ambassadors in question, who recently separated from her NRL footballer husband Braith Anasta and is "going through a tough time."
“It’s common knowledge that people are concerned about Jodi’s current weight,” a source told the newspaper.
“Her management is aware and has had a word with her.
“She is going through a tough time with her divorce ... some people eat when they are under stress, some people don’t.”
The move comes just weeks after model Kate Peck was dropped as an ambassador by the brand, with many claiming her "grungy style" was at odds with Myer's image.
Peck hit headlines when it was believed she was too slim to feature in the brand's swimwear catalogue and was excluded for the swimwear showcase during the 2014 and 2015 Spring/Summer showcases.
“It's been a great two years, perhaps I'm a little too much of a wild child to be a part of the Myer family, but regardless, I love them dearly and I had a ball,” Kate said when she parted ways with Myer.
The Myer showcase is due to take place on Thursday evening, where Anasta and Jennifer Hawkins will take to the catwalk to showcase the latest designs on offer.
