Tourists film porn at Egypt’s pyramids

Egyptian authorities are investigating after tourists filmed a pornographic video during a visit to the Pyramids of Giza.

The Daily Mail reported that a European porn star named Aurita features in the video, flashing her breasts and other body parts on camera during a bus trip to the tourist site.

Along with complaining about being bored at the site, the woman also exposes one breast and says, “My t**s and the Sphinx”.

The video reportedly ends with pornographic scenes between the actress and a male co-star.

Newstime Africa reported that officials initially declared the video a fake, but decided to investigate after reports of the film appeared in local media.

“A set of sexually explicit scenes was illegally filmed inside the Giza Necropolis by a foreign tourist while visiting the site,” Antiquities Minister Mamdouh al-Damati said in a statement.

According to the Daily Mail, the company behind the film released a 10-minute trailer video on the internet.

Egyptologist Bassam al-Shamaa said that the woman appears to be in a prohibited area of the site.

“Surveillance cameras aren’t enough to secure such important sites,” the Mirror quoted him as saying.

"A full security cordon must be installed to prevent such incidents – which demean Egyptian civilisation – from reoccurring.

"If camera records confirm the filming of this video, the antiquities minister and the relevant security personnel should resign."
