Riding in style takes on a whole new meaning when you own a private jet.

For most of us, it’s just a fantasy. But for a select few, zipping around the world on their own schedule in the lap of luxury is a reality.

Where are they zipping? According to data from a recent Wealth Report, Moscow, Russia to Nice, France is the most popular private jet route in the world.

The report, which documents the patterns of individuals worth more than $30 million, was released last week by global real estate consultancy, Knight Frank.

The second most popular route in the world is Miami to New York, followed by the ever-popular New York, to Los Angeles. This data was provided by private aviation provider, NetJets, and shows that the United States remains the world’s most important private jet market.

Looking at the fastest growing routes gives insight into emerging market demands. Nice, France to New York is the fast growing route for jet traffic, followed by Maiquetía, Venezuela to Miami.

As for who is taking the flights, 80 percent of the private jet passengers are male.

Their typical age is 40-55, and many are private entrepreneurs.
