Nicole and Keith’s 'marriage in crisis’

They are Australia’s sweetheart married couple but things apparently aren’t too peachy for Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban at the moment.

According to New Idea, the long distance in their relationship has taken its toll and the pair have been leading “separate lives”.

Reports have emerged alongside photos published by the magazine of the 50-year-old embracing her director friend Garth Davis while in Sydney for the premiere for Top Of The Lake.

A source who saw the two friends told the publication: “When Nicole and Garth said hello and goodbye, they shared a very lingering embrace.”

Keith is currently away on tour and a source told the magazine that he will be “furious” over the photos even though he “knows there’s nothing going on between them.”

The married couple reportedly previously had a “no more than seven days a part” rule but due to their conflicting schedules they were forced to get rid of it last year.

However, this pair won’t be heading for splitsville any time soon.

Another source told the magazine that their relationship “has always been their priority” and they are prepared “to do whatever it takes to keep their love strong”.

Despite these reports, Nic and Keith have been pictured putting on a series of amorous public displays throughout the year.

They couldn’t keep their hands off each other while on the red carpet for the Academy Awards and were the same at the Cannes Film Festival back in May.

Most recently, the pair were pictured together at the CMT Music Awards in June where Keith snagged three awards and the couple looked just as loved-up as ever.

The pair tied the knot back in 2006 and have two children together Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
