Palace fuming Thomas Markle dragged Diana into Meghan's family feud

Meghan Markle’s outspoken father is said to have left the Palace seething after he brought up Princess Diana in one of his rants.

The 72-year-old, who pulled out of his daughter’s wedding party on the week of her nuptials to Prince Harry, gave another interview over the weekend, where he claimed he’s ‘reached his limit’ with his 36-year-old daughter and the rest of the royal family.

“They have Meghan treating her father in a way that Harry’s mother Princess Diana would have loathed. That’s not what Diana stood for,” he said in an interview with the Mail on Sunday.

“Princess Diana is credited with changing the Royal Family but she wasn’t perfect.

“She was still very much one of them.”

During the interview, Thomas also sensationally claimed it would be ‘easier for Meghan and Harry if he weren’t alive at all.

He claimed Meghan has changed all her phone numbers and he can’t contact his daughter since she married Prince Harry.

And while Meghan has remained silent on the matter, it’s said to be frustrating her that she can’t address the situation.

“She doesn’t have her own publicist, she can’t make any comments on Twitter and she can’t reach out to him to tell him to stop speaking to the press,” a source told Us Weekly.

“Her father’s comments have an effect on everything.”

Thomas Markle isn’t the only member of the family to have spoken in the months following Meghan’s wedding, with her half-sister also slamming the Duchess of Sussex.

Calling out Meghan’s behaviour on her Twitter account to her followers, Samantha even went so far to claim that if anything was to happen to Thomas, the finger of blame would be firmly pointed in her direction.

“How about you pay tribute to your own father?!” Samantha tweeted to her followers.

“Enough is enough. Act like a humanitarian act like a woman! If our father dies I’m holding you responsible, Meg!

“Glad you have so much time to gallivant around paying tribute to others while ignoring your own father!” Samantha tweeted.

“How cold can you be and look in the mirror? Harry? I guess I was right.”
