Girl's heartbreaking texts to her mum about being bullied go viral

A girl’s heartbreaking text messages to her mum about being bullied have gone viral online, with people shocked and disgusted at the ruthless bullies.

The messages, which were posted to Thato Tholo’s Facebook account, show the young girl asking her mum to bring jeans and a t-shirt to her because she’s being mocked for wearing a dress.

A picture shows the girl taking a selfie in a bathroom mirror in what appears to be a shopping centre and then a Snapchat she received where her legs had been circled, alongside the caption: “Thicc”.

“Mom can you please bring me a tshirt and jeans,” the first text from the girl says, before she sends another one which simply says “please”.

Her mum seems a bit confused by the request and asks her daughter what she has on at that moment.

“A dress and people are making fun of me and taking pictures of me and I wanna change,” the girl replied.

Three minutes later her mum asked her if she needed shoes before telling her daughter she would be there in seven minutes and arriving just five minutes later.

The post, which has the caption: “Guys stop bullying. This broke my heart”,has over 30,000 shares and 500 comments online.

People have taken to the comments section to vent their anger at the bullies and tell the girl how beautiful she is.

“We all got flaws. Just because people can see hers doesn't mean she should be criticized for it. I think she's beautiful,” one person said.

“This is so sad! I dont understand the satisfaction ok people of doing this,” another person said, before a commenter said that her legs are way more beautiful than the bully’s personality.

“The damn idiot couldn't even spell "thick" right but has the guts to make fun of her. What a shame,” one person said.
