Mum hears chilling ghost during toddler’s tantrum

When Aussie mum Ash Birdy decided to film her misbehaving son on her phone to send to family, the last thing she expected was to have a ghostly encounter.

Instead, the Queensland mum was left shaken after she replayed the clip of her son Ben running from the kitchen to their living room – and heard what she believes was a ghost.

"I noticed the whisper the first time I heard it, after sending it to my mum in a message on Facebook," Ash told CafeMom.

Convinced she could hear a voice say ‘Hunt her’ in the background, Ash listened to the clip on repeat.

She then decided to share the video on Facebook - and was shocked when many other watchers agreed with her.

“I heard it!” wrote one commenter. “Gave me goosebumps”

Ash reveals her son had become tantrum-prone in the last few weeks, and only decided to film his latest outburst after her mum asked if his behaviour had improved.

“[Some commenters] implied that whatever made the sound was responsible for my son's behavior lately or that something was attached to him, or that it was encouraging him to hunt or hurt me, his mother,” said Ash.

The mystery deepened after Ash admitted she had recently been given an old vault safe from an aged-care hospital, which left some wondering if it was connected to the supernatural behaviour.

While the jury is out on exactly who or what made that sound, Ash is determined to clear her home using sage.

"The energy here's been chaotic,” she wrote on Facebook. “It needs serious clearing.”
