Child's tantrum causes parents to call police after they refuse to let her watch Love Island


Ever wanted to watch a show so much that your tantrum caused the police to show up?

Us neither – but we’re not a certain 11-year-old child from Barlestone in the UK.

Officers were called to the house after a couple refused to allow their child to watch the British version of Love Island.

After their spawn caused a massive scene, they were then forced to dial 999 after being threatened with violence.

According to the Market Bosworth Police Facebook page, “An 11-year-old girl kicked off because she wasn’t allowed to watch Love Island,”

“Due to the information passed by the caller, this was risk assessed and graded as a “Grade One” – which means they attended as an emergency on blues and twos. True story.”

Australians have also caught the “love” bug and are lapping up the Aussie version filmed just around the corner from the UK villa.

Both mansions are located on a secluded part of Spain’s party island, Mallorca (ma-yo-r-ka).

While we know the UK version is filmed near the town of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, we’re betting the Aussies are just a few km’s away!
