Paris Jackson’s painful surgery to remove golf ball-sized abscess
Paris Jackson has opened up about her horror surgery story with fans, revealing how she was forced to undergo an operation to remove a ‘golf ball’ sized abscess.
Paris, 20, who is the daughter of Michael Jackson, took to Instagram to tell how she was rushed under the knife last Friday.
Detailing how the abscess was “almost the size of a golf ball” in a video posted on her band The Soundflowers’ Instagram account, Paris explained how if the abscess had popped, it could have become septic, and resulted in death.
Luckily the star was able to be operated on immediately, however refused to be put under anesthesia for the procedure.
“It was definitely the most pain that I’ve ever been through in my entire life,” she said.
Despite the agony, Paris pushed through the pain and was on stage with her band the next day to perform at Canyon Sessions, a fundraiser for the organisation F-Cancer, in front of supporters including her grandmother Katherine Jackson.
“I can’t believe my grandma made it to our second live show ever. and she actually liked it!?!!!” Paris wrote on Instagram.
“I was s**tting my pants. i love you so much grandma. i’m so happy we got to play for you and to play for such an incredible cause.”
