People go wild over Woolies' new mint chocolate cake hack


Fans of Woolworths’ classic chocolate mud cake have gone wild over the retail giant’s latest offering – a brand new limited edition chocolate mint mud cake.

Woolworths decided to upload a video to their Facebook page, showing off a hack they created with the mint delight, which see the cake being transformed into one sweet masterpiece.

Needless to say, people online lost it when they saw how the retail brand transformed the $4.40 cake into something that looked straight like it came out of a bakery.

Over 11,000 people have commented on the video (which can be seen above), which shows three mud cakes being stacked up on top of each other, with icing in between each layer.

It then shows the icing being spread on the outside of the layers, making it into one big mint cake.

Chocolate sauce, mint slices, mint biscuits and jellies are then added as decoration to pull the whole thing together.

“I would eat it all in one go,” one person commented on the video.

“I need this in my life rn – MINT!!,” another person said.

Others claimed they now have their wedding and birthday cakes sorted after seeing the 13-second-long video.

However, if you’re thinking of getting your hands on one of the cakes, you better be quick, as they are only available until stocks last.
