People are losing it over this $29 coffee table

While we’re used to people going wild over Kmart furniture, this time the internet is obsessing over a Big W coffee table that costs just $29.

The Scandi style living room piece is causing a stir because it looks just like numerous designs on the market which cost upwards of $200.

The table, which comes in light oak, is currently on the company’s website, where it’s described as a piece that ‘will refresh your entire living space’.

It’s finished off with a PVC lamination and is easy to assemble with just simple screw on legs.

But people online can’t help to compare it to designs from other massive furniture stores, where a similar table will cost you a pretty penny.

Matt Blatt are selling a ‘Fleetwood Coffee Table’ for $415, which looks strikingly similar to the Big W design.

However, the Matt Blatt piece has solid oak timber legs and has a second panel on the bottom of the coffee table.

Likewise, Brosa is selling a ‘Hans Coffee Table’ that is currently on sale for $269, made with solid American knotty oak wood.

The Big W deign can also be complemented with a matching $19 side table and a $39 console table.

People online couldn’t believe the bargain price, with many commenting saying they’ll need to make a trip to the store and others saying they think it’s time their living room got an upgrade.
