“Hi my Sydney friends,” she began. “It is with great frustration that I bring you this news.

“Friday’s show will be postponed. I was hoping a couple of days of rest would help me kick this sick, but not at the speed I was hoping for.”

The ‘What About Us’ singer said she appreciated all the well wishes she had received and apologised for postponing the show.

Pink followed up with another Twitter post, asking how her followers felt about neti pots.

While she didn’t state what kind of illness she had come down with, net pots are widely used for allergies, sinus issues and colds.

Entertainment company Live Nation, who are running Pink’s tour, also made a statement insisting Friday’s show will be rescheduled, and all other Australian performances “will go ahead as scheduled”.

Just a few days ago Pink was seen enjoying some downtime with her husband Carey Hart and their daughter Willow in Byron Bay at ‘The Farm’.
