Pink reveals new dates for cancelled Sydney concerts
Pink has revealed the new dates for her cancelled Sydney concerts.
While she’s set to retake to the stage on Saturday in Sydney, those affected by the cancelled shows earlier this week — including tomorrow’s date — will be able to see her perform on an alternative night instead.
While most new dates are in September, the August 3rd performance is now being held on August 24. The rest will happen on September 17, 18 and 19.
In a post earlier today, the singer explained that just 20 minutes before she was due on stage for soundcheck on Monday, she was struck by an “excruciating pain” and was rushed to Sydney’s St Vincent Hospital.
“We were absolutely planning on going ahead with the show, and about 20 minutes before I left for soundcheck, I was rushed to the hospital, in excruciating pain,” she wrote on Instagram.
The 38-year-old said she has now been released from hospital and is resting until her next scheduled show on Saturday.
“A lot of you know how physical my shows are, and that I don’t just stand in front a microphone and sing,” she explained. “I flip, dance, fly, harness, silk, and scream my way through a total sh*t show of awesomeness (no pun intended).”

The mum of two went on to thank her fans for their support and praise the hospital staff “for getting me home to my kids”.
Rescheduled concert dates
While she’s set to pick up the world tour from Saturday, she is cancelling tomorrow night’s gig in Sydney too.
“Thank you for your patience, compassion, and support,” she wrote.
As a result, her show in Brisbane on August 23 has been moved to August 22.
Yesterday, Pink cancelled a third night of her Sydney ‘Beautiful Trauma’ tour as she continued to battle health problems.
“On medical advice Pink’s performance scheduled for this evening (August 7) at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena has been postponed,” a post on tour promoter Live Nation’s Twitter account read on Tuesday morning.
The statement went on to explain the mum of two was admitted to St Vincent’s Hospital on Sunday night where she was treated for “dehydration”.
It came after she pulled out of her opening night show at the same location last Friday and the second show on Monday.
Taking to Twitter last week to announce with the sad news “great frustration”, the singer thanked her fans for their “understanding”.
Outrage turned to concern
The shock hospitalisation initially outraged some fans, but many have been sharing their concerns for the star.
Pink, I am so worried about your health. You are a beautiful person. You are so special to me. Get better soon🙏 and hopefully you can have enough resting time before you continue your next show in Sydney. Love you❤️

If I'd missed my Pink concert, I'd be disappointed too, after waiting for so long, but my first concern would actually be for her and her health. She's the ultimate performer, she wouldn't be a no show with no reason. People should get over themselves.

Hope you get better soon. It was sad that we missed out on your concert last night but your health is more important. All the best for the rest of the tour.

Just a few days ago Pink was seen enjoying some downtime with her husband Carey Hart and their daughter Willow in Byron Bay at ‘The Farm’.
