While their befrocked and besuited counterparts arrived at the Beverly Hilton in LA via the red carpet for Sunday’s Golden Globes, six handsome thespians strode an altogether different red carpet in Milan.
Gary Oldman, Willem Dafoe, Emile Hirsch, Tim Roth, Adrien Brody and the grownup star of ‘Billy Elliot’ Jamie Bell walked the runway for Miuccia Prada’s autumn/winter 2013 collection.
The extravagant menswear show, dubbed ‘Il Palazzo’ and set in a ballroom decorated in regal red, celebrated elegance and classic tailoring.
Oldman, star of the critically-acclaimed ‘Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy’, wore a knee-length black double-breasted coat, while Dafoe modeled a similar jacket. Each actor sported a pair of signature Prada sunglasses in his coat’s top pocket.
Bell, who voices the role of Tintin in Steven Spielberg’s new animated film ‘The Adventures of Tintin’, was jacketless in a white shirt, waistcoat and cummerbund.
Twice Oscar-nominated Brody wore a dramatic red coat with a fur-trimmed lapel and black velvet collar, as well as the distinct red-lensed glasses.
The actors-turned-models – for one night only – showed themselves to be naturals on the catwalk.
