Later the mother-of-one, who is due in August with a little girl, apologised in an interview with The Daily Telegraph and revealed she needed to use the toilet.

Missy’s backup crew humorously started singing “Missy is doing a wee” before she returned to the stage.

“That was incredibly awkward… That has never happened to me before,” she reportedly told her audience.

Missy has just released a new album, Solastalgia.

In an exclusive chat with Be, she said of her comeback after six years:

“I felt like I had something to say and I felt inspired.

“It makes you see the world in a different way.”
