Constance Hall reveals miscarriage scare
Constance Hall has revealed to her followers that her baby was ‘at risk’ after she suffered significant bleeding over Christmas.
The mummy blogger, who is pregnant with her fifth child, wrote in a post on Facebook that in the days leading into Christmas she woke up to find she was bleeding.
“Habitually like most women I looked at the toilet paper, expecting nothing but a wet patch,” Constance wrote.
“Only this morning the paper was covered in bright red blood.”
Both her and her fiancé Denim Cooke burst into tears completely shocked, having only just revealed they were expecting a baby boy.
“I was really upset, I've never lost blood like that in any pregnancy,” Constance, who is 16 weeks pregnant, said.
“And I want this little boy so badly, he's become a part of our every conversation, our family, we've named him and fantasise over what his personality will be.”
After waiting for two hours to see a doctor, while she continued bleeding, she goes on to explain that Denim had to get her to calm down.
“For the first time in my life I listened. He was right, I needed to calm down,” she wrote.
“When the doctor finally saw us he said the baby looks good, his heart is beating and he's moving around, my cervix looks good and everything should be ok. But I do have significant bleeding which does put the baby at risk.
“So now all we can do is wait and hope.”
On Boxing Day the blogger revealed the bleeding had finally stopped and thanked her fans for sending positive thoughts their way.
“After 2.5 shitty days the bleeding seems to have ended. And I am feeling really lucky and confident,” she said.
“I truly believe it has been that positivity and support that pulled us through.”
This recent scare has only compounded what Constance has described as the “most stressful year of my life”.
But despite facing two legal battles over her business, and still dealing with the ending of her previous marriage, she revealed her and Denim would marry in a “commitment ceremony” in two week’s time.
Constance can’t legally marry yet, after splitting from her ex-husband earlier this year. She then became engaged to Denim in April.
“We need no paper work or churches, even our rings were under $200 each. We only need each other. And I need my children," she said.
“That includes you little man, I need you to stay.”
