Prince George and Princess Charlotte steal limelight at friend's wedding

Prince George and Princess Charlotte had all eyes on them at a wedding over the weekend.

The royal siblings stole the limelight as part of the bridal party once again, this time for Charlotte’s godmother Sophie Carter’s big day.

A close friend of Kate Middleton, Sophie married Robert Suggs at a high society wedding in Norfolk on Saturday, with little Prince George seen laughing and playing with his young friends outside the church.

Dressed in a collarless white shirt, pastel blue long shorts, with white stockings and matching loafers, the five-year-old looked like he was having a blast as he played a game of soldiers with his pals.

In his signature cheeky manner, he was even spotted poking his head out of the church several times as the guests waited for the bride to arrive.

“George is a real star, quite the little chap,” a source told People, who had the exclusive photos. “He was having a great time, running around like the leader of the pack.”

However Charlotte, three, didn’t look like she was having as much fun as she performed her bridesmaid duties.

Wearing a white linen dress with a blue trim, she pouted her bottom lip in a way that only a princess could, as she waited outside the church with her mum and dad, Prince William.

She also rocked a flower crown that matched her bouquet.

Meanwhile, Kate, 36, proved once again that blue is definitely her colour, in a blazer by Catherine Walker & Co. with matching floral headpiece.

It’s not the first time the young royals have inadvertently stolen the limelight from the bride and groom, with the pair grabbing headlines at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding back in May.

They melted hearts around the world when they rocked miniature versions of their outfits.

A similar thing happened when they attended their aunt Pippa Middleton’s wedding the year before, too.
