Prince Harry and Meghan's first major royal tour confirmed
It’s been confirmed that both Prince Harry and his new wife Meghan Markle will be visiting Australia in October this year as part of their first major royal tour.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be in the country for the 2018 Invictus Games, which are being held in Sydney.
A statement by Kensington Palace confirmed the couple will not only visit Australia together, but will also be heading over to Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga, and New Zealand.

Reports in April suggested Meghan would be joining her new hubby Down Under in for the Games.
The former Suits star attended last year’s games in Toronto with Harry, and joined in again this year when she sheered on UK athletes at the trials.
They will be in Sydney for the opening ceremony and are expected to stay for a couple of days before checking out some other sites around the country. Brisbane is one possibility, according to Sunrise royal editor Rob Jobson.
“The Invictus Games and Harry’s work with that is very popular where-ever he goes for that,” Rob said.
“It will be a really important tour.”
